Leather Art

Aside from making a saddle and a few other items, there is probably nothing that Kim has not made or would make. He has made things you probably didn’t know could be made from leather. He is an excellent and accomplished carver and tooler. Vegetable tanned leather is wonderful to work with (think belts and billfolds and all types of horse gear). But do not ignore his deer skin talents. He has made jackets, gloves, purses, and book covers to name a few. Using patterns is a great way to start but the ultimate is to make products from your ideas.
